Please help to clarify, is this Shruthi not working as it should? Bought from a trusted builder.
I checked my 2 CEM units, both don’t have this digital noise. Just some static noise. The levels seems to be close to the mentioned -60db.

Current firmware exceeds size limit?
I eventually got it to work with this version which Olivier recommended: http://www.obdev.at/downloads/crosspack/CrossPack-AVR-20100115.dmg The never version of this pack I had installed didn’t compile the code, and the Arduino tools I was using…

Current firmware exceeds size limit?
The hex file is no option, since I need the firmware tweaks that happened after 0.97 to support the software editor I’m working on. I think the size limit was crossed in the last commit, since it’s the only recent one that adds a substantial amount…

I’m using 4.3.2 from the Arduino distribution, so this should be ok?

Max for live patches?
Sorry for the long silence. I have a hard time finishing things that turn out to be way more work than I initially realized. The editor almost there. I need to do a little more testing and make the data management a little more secure. The only thi…

I was working on a full blown editor and accompanying M4L performance device. I planned to release end of December, but I then got tangled up in a different project that can’t wait. 95% of the features are implemented I mainly just need to clean an…

I would like to sell some of this stuff soon so I’m going down in prices a bit. Updates on top. You can always PM me with an offer, especially if you’d like multiple things.

Anushri manual VCO tuning, some observations
@smugrik: I was confused at first because I was turning the pot in the opposite direction. Sounds stupid but maybe give it a try. Counter clockwise make the intervals larger I think. At first I also had the pot turned all the way clockwise and didn…

Firmware mods for extended editor control
No it shouldn’t break any existing functionality. The sequence change is the only mod you can use without sysex, so I guess this build is not that interesting to everyone. I put the compiled hex and mid files here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/81658…

@herrprof: The sequences you can load via the controls on the panel, but there was never a way to load them via midi similar to a patch program change. The only way to do this was to link the sequences to the patches and have them stored and recall…

I don’t think the problem is my tuner. I will try an alternative but I doubt it will make a difference. I’m using a Mac btw.

@defenestration: The Rubicon looks interesting I didn’t know it. What are you using to measure pitch? Any tips on how you got it so close?

In that case it was a bit of a coincidence than, that I landed exactly at A when the tracking was correct :) Thanks!

Ah I see now that it’s not green! Pretty damn close on my monitor / perception :) Turning it counter-clockwise the pitch went up but the tracking eventually became right after all. It got me confused but it was false alarm! Btw, is it a coinci…

Hurray! I finally have a working Anushri :D I replaced the 74HCxxx ICs and put in the 328p from my Arduino and flashed the firmware. All seems to be ok now! Apparently the DACs and 6n137 were still ok. Thanks for the help. I will not make this …

Thanks I’ll look into them. I have a 328p as part of an Arduino board that I can take out. The 6n137 and 74hcxx I have spare. The DACs I don’t have. I’ll try to reprogram the MCU first. No I didn’t check the power levels first. Stupid of me. Wit…
