The forum feed, and how it works

    I use Google Reader to follow the MI forum but it seems that I only get the first post of a new topic, and that’s it.
    Is this:
    -by design, yes it is meant to be that way.
    -by my some error that I do, I should read the bleedin’ manual.
    -a known problem with Google Reader, although I seem to remember that Thunderbird worked the same way, that should have been fixed two years ago, use a real feedcatcher.

    Thatt’s the way it is designed into vanilla. You have a global “topics” feed, and for each topic a discussion feed with all posts.
