Minor suggestion: It would have been nice to have had a part number for a power supply or at least some reminder that I needed one, probably with the digital board. I know it sounds braid-dead but I didn't even think of it until I had all the parts at home. Luckily I had one already.

Anything that delivers 7-12V DC 300mA+ with center pin positive should be sufficient. Just have a look if you have something old from the various gadgets you had flying around….
